The NC-Double-Eh Players of the Week - Week 16

With the season coming down to it's last weeks before conference tournaments start, we had some players looking to get their teams into great position for possible NCAA Tournament spots.  Check out who earned this weeks honors in our NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week here ...




NC-Double-Eh Men's Player of the Week
Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga
14 ppg, 8 rpg, 1 apg, 1 spg, 1 bpg, 13-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 3PT FGs, 3-of-3 FTs, 19 mpg in two games - an 85-42 win over Santa Clara Feb. 20 and an 81-50 win over San Diego Feb. 23.

Honorable Mention - Dwight Powell, Stanford - 15 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1 bpg, 11-of-22 FGs, 1-of-2 3PT FGs, 7-of-7 FTs, 24 mpg in two games - an 82-72 win over Oregon St Feb. 21 and a 77-67 loss to Oregon on Feb. 23. 

NC-Double-Eh Men's Rookie of the Week
Olivier Hanlan, Boston College
19 ppg, 5 rpg, 2 apg, 2 spg, 14-of-27 FGs, 4-of-9 3PT FGs, 6-of-7 FTs, 31 mpg in two games - a 69-58 win over Maryland Feb. 19 and an 89-68 loss to Duke Feb. 24.

Honorable Mention - Ben Millaud, St. Francis (PA) - 19 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2 apg, 12-of-22 FGs, 10-of-15 3PT FGs, 4-of-5 FTs in two games - a 69-64 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 21 and a 79-68 win over Monmouth on Feb. 23.  Earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors. 

NC-Double-Eh Women's Player of the Week
Taryn Wicijowski, Utah
14.5 ppg, 10 rpg, 3 apg, 1 bpg, 12-of-24 FGs, 5-of-10 FTs, 34 mpg in two games - a 60-46 win over Washington Feb. 20 and a 59-47 win over Washington St Feb. 24.

Honorable Mention - Lauren Buschmann, Vermont - 18.5 ppg, 8 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1 bpg, 14-of-23 FGs, 9-of-13 FTs, 28 mpg in two games - a 73-63 loss to Maine on Feb. 20 and a 68-52 loss to Albany Feb. 24.

NC-Double-Eh Women's Rookie of the Week
Rashida Timbilla, Massachusetts
7.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 5-of-9 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs, 26.5 mpg in two games - a 79-60 loss to Charlotte on Feb. 20 and a 53-44 loss to Duquesne Feb. 24.

Honorable Mention - Nirra Fields, UCLA - 7.5 ppg, 2 rpg, 1 apg, 5-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 3PT FGS, 4-of-8 FTs in  17 mpg in two games - a 68-54 win over USC on Feb. 19 and a 63-58 win over USC again on Feb. 24.
