The NC-Double-Eh Players of the Week - Week 14

We are closing in on the NCAA Tournament and the games are getting tighter and more meaningful.  To that end, we have had some incredible performances from some players over the last week that are worthy of awards but we can't select everyone.  Check out who earned the hardware this week in the NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week ...



NC-Double-Eh Men's Player of the Week
Dwight Powell, Stanford
23 ppg, 10 rpg, 3 apg, 2 bpg, 15-of-29 FGs, 2-of-2 3PT FGs, 14-of-15 FTs, 35.5 mpg in two games - a 73-66 loss to Arizona on Feb. 6 and a 62-59 win over Arizona St on Feb. 9.

Honorable Mention - Kevin Pangos, Gonzaga - 17 ppg, 3 rpg, 4 apg, 2 spg, 11-of-21 FGs, 8-of-16 3PT FGs, 4-of-4 FTs, 31.5 mpg in two games - an 82-56 win over Pepperdine Feb. 7 and a 74-55 over Loyola Marymount Feb. 9. 

NC-Double-Eh Men's Rookie of the Week
Sim Bhullar, New Mexico St
17 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.5 bpg, 12-of-17 FGs, 10-of-18 FTs, 30.5 mpg in two games - a 76-74 win over Idaho Feb. 7 and a 60-57 win over Seattle on Feb. 9.

Honorable Mention - Olivier Hanlan, Boston College - 18 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1 apg, 1.5 spg, 12-of-25 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs, 37 mpg in two games - a 72-50 loss to Miami (FL) on Feb. 5 and a narrow 62-61 loss to Duke on Feb. 10. 

NC-Double-Eh Women's Player of the Week
Natalie Achonwa, Notre Dame
15 ppg, 10 rpg, 3 apg, 2.5 bpg, 11-of-22 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs, 31.5 mpg in two games - a 59-52 win over Villanova Feb. 5 and a 69-49 win over Seton Hall on Feb. 9.

Honorable Mention - Michelle Plouffe, Utah - 14.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2 apg, 2.5 spg, 1 bpg, 12-of-20 FGs, 3-of-8 3PT FGs, 2-of-2 FTs, 28.5 mpg in two games - a 67-47 win over Oregon Feb. 8 and a 66-40 won over Oregon St Feb. 10. 

NC-Double-Eh Women's Rookie of the Week
Rashida Timbilla, Massachusetts
8 pts, 5 rebs, 1 ast, 2 stls, 1 blk, 3-of-5 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs, 25 mins in one game - a 59-50 loss to Saint Louis on Feb. 8.

Honorable Mention - Nirra Fields, UCLA - 6 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1 apg, 4-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs, 16.5 mpg in two games - a 65-60 win over Washington on Feb. 8 and an 80-65 win over Washington St Feb. 10.
